Handicap Racing Information With Rating Forms etc

Thanks to some hard work by your PHRF Committee, particularly Bob Kendrick and Wayne Beardsley, we now have PHRF rating information available online

These pages contain rating information from the YRA of Long Island Sound’s Performance Handicap Racing Fleet database.  While every effort is made to keep this data current, only the actual certificate issued by YRALIS is official. The following pages are available:

The PHRF Regulations currently require ''that sail dimensions not specifically stated on the certificate conform either to the yacht's class or to limitations that have long been standard in all measurement rules''. As certain sail types are newly being explored and may not be mentioned, or were banned, in earlier measurement rules; the PHRF Committee has made the following change to the PHRF Regulations, effective March 12, 2007. Spinnakers shall not have battens and shall not be attached to the headstay along the length of any luff or leach.

Recent changes - presents a summary of the changes resulting from the most recent handicappers meeting.

Base ratings - shows by boat type the basic rating numbers.

Valid certificates -  sorted by sail number.

Cruising Adjustments - additional adjustments due to credits for cruising configurations.
