Cow Bay Perpetual Trophy

Presented in 1965 by the first Cow Bay Committee, to encourage competition within the YTA of LIS in the types of yachts used in the Pan American or Olympic Class boats or in classes recognized by World Sailing To be awarded to the helmsman who is a member of the YRA of LIS, over 18 years of age in one of the above classes with 5 or more qualifiers under YRA Class Championship Rules and gains the highest score after adding .001 times the difference between five and the number of boats qualifying in the fleet.
